FRESH @ Ruby Skye

So Lee Decker was the thunder and Jamie J. Sanchez was the lightening!  Lee's debut in the main room was nothing short of spectacular, and we're lucky to have had him FINALLY agree to join us at FRESH!  Our favorite FRESH veteran, Jamie J. Sanchez, delivered just like he always does but this time he had a few tricks up his sleeve.  A very fun, fresh, and high-energy set from Jamie that the boys loved.  Jamie proves he can do it all, time after time after time.  Thanks to Patrik Gallineaux and his Hot Hot Hot Stoli Boys Brandon Styles and Lyndon Peters as they rolled out their 'Rainbow Carpet' in the VIP Suite for the 2nd month in a row.  What's better than a Stoli Cocktail and a little Stoli Star Treatment in the VIP Suite?  Judging by the crwod inside, not much.  We got some local celebs (Pdev, Neena, Richard, Marques, Dee/Randy, Jose and Christian Minchillo just to name a few) along with some LA starlets like Adam Phan, Robert Olson and Derek Richmond in the house.  And underwear designer/mogul Lam Tran was spotted on the dancefloor too.  But don't forget a FRESH roster of gogo with some favorites and newcomers all mixed together.  Thanks Willi Farrales, Jesse Oberst, Mauricio Salvador and Jamaal Bradshaw for joining us on the boxes!  And to Suzan Revah, a very happy birthday, you are flawless on and off the gogo box. Jeff Changmai, David Reed, Faruk Attayib and Andrew Slade you were HOT as alway and we're lucky to have on the FRESH set!  Looking forward to the Labor Day T-Dance on Sunday 9/5/10!

Ummm, Wayne G. was in town, and he made us PROUD from behind the decks at FRESH!  Wow.  His beats, combined with Kyle Garner's laser show, combined with Allan's lights and a sold-out crowd giving off nothing but amazing energy and a positive vibe was just the combination to blow the roof off the place.  We want to thank Wayne G, Kyle, Allan, Mane, Andy Bell, David Curell, SFPride.org, and all of the amazing people who showed up to dance with us over Pride Sunday! There were a lot of smiling faces out there, and you made it a night to remember, and on the 40th Anniversary of San Francisco Pride, you all did us proud.  THANK YOU! And a very special shout out to Stoli Vodka and Patrik Gallineaux for hosting a most-fabulous VIP experience in the Suite. And those Stoli Boys?  Hot hot hot... But not to be out done by our FRESH dancers, thanks for bringing your best to the boxes, as usual. You Rock!  And speaking of things that rock, let's talk about 1stGear Underwear that was on display in the Lobby and on the gogo dancers as well.  It's ok to be hot, and it was exactly that.  Thanks to Lam Tran and 1stGear for outfitting our dancers for Pride!

As Candis Cayne says, FRESH for Memorial Day 2010 was GORGEOUS! What a crowd, what a performance by Manny Lehman, and what amazing weather/sunshine we had all weekend long!

8 YEARS OF FRESH! We can't thank you all enough for your support, encouragement and love month after month at FRESH! And even more importantly, it is your support which has enabled us to raise over $110,000 for charity! That is something that all us can be proud of! And for the anniversary we selected EQUALITY CALIFORNIA as our beneficiary so that (among other initiatives) we can help them fight for MARRIAGE EQUALITY on our behalf! Every one of us has to take responsibility and own the fight for equality. Not just for marriage, but for our civil rights, and Janine and I tried to do our part on Sunday night. What better place than at FRESH??

With our first-ever DJ duo at the decks, Phil B and Wayne G lit up the room all night long! And with Giveaways from BODY CLOTHING, and Tom Whitman's ELEVATION gay ski weekend in Mammoth, there was no absence of variety on the floor. Not to mention VIP birthday celebrations for the likes of SF Examiner nightlife guru Marques Daniels, our very own superstar Louie Marco, and uber-LA hottie and beach volleyball-star Robert Olson! And if that wasn't enough, the confetti-white-out in the main room at 10pm hit just the right note during SM Traxx 'Got The Groove' thanks to Wayne, Phil and Allan our lighting expert up there in the booth! Allan rocked the lights all night long, and you wrote in to tell us about it! And of course our gogo pros out there on the boxes sweat it out all night - and made the room that much hotter. 8 years later, we're still having a blast, and it's all thanks to the beautiful faces that show up every month. Thanks for a very special Valentine's Day!

Ok - so first of all - Brett pulled a burner with 2 gigs on the East Coast Friday and Saturday and then a jet to SF for FRESH on Sunday.  Is he SUPERMAN?? And second, this was a *crazy* crowd, in a great mood and it was star-studded for sure. Donna, Suzan (and her man!), Erik Proctor (happy birthday!), Marques, Alfie (happy birthday!), BeBe, and impromptu expose on the box by Jose Mercado, Coltane was in the house, and of course an all-star line-up of FRESH boys on the gogo boxes.  Dare I say the 'A' team?  Devin, Jeremy, Skyler, Andrew, the return of Michael Martinez, our veteran Diva Carol, and a comeback from Aaron Marxmiller.  Too hot!  Thanks to a sell-out crowd and great DJ and the FRESH family (you know who you are) for kicking off 2010 in style. On to the 8th Anniversary!

OMG - Phil B rocked FRESH for the holidays - that's really all there is to it! Everyone went bonkers, everyone in a great mood, and everyone loving every minute of Phil's set! Plus some SUPERSTAR VIP bdays in the house, including FRESH family-member Jeremy Taylor, the one and only Sister Roma, FRESH veteran Art Leigl, Friend of FRESH and gogo regular Antoine Delataire and a host of others splashed on the Big Screen! And of course some VIPs hanging in the suite with us like mega-star Jose Mercado, the gorgeous and exotic Paju Munro, haute-hottie BeBe Sweetbriar, the ever-glamorous Patrick Gallineaux and our partners in print from Outword Magazine! Thanks to everyone who partied with us last night, this was a Holiday FRESH to remember.  On to 2010!

DJ Tony Moran debuted at FRESH over Halloween Weekend! FRESH @ Ruby Skye was simply OVERTAKEN by the 'Alice In Wonderland' theme decor, and no one was excluded from it, not even the GoGo dancers. Tony rocked the house all night long and put his exotic spin on our classic FRESH t-dance sound.  Superstar Photog Joe Pessa celebrated his bday in style, as did Michael Smith. Also on hand with her gaggle of Brazilian Boys was socialite Suzan Revah, sporting a new man-friend?! What? The boys were pawing at him, but word is he's taken! Atta girl... And lest we not forget our other special guest stars, Jose Mercado, Adrian Gonzalez, Patrik Galineaux, Neena Sihota, Patrick Devin, Canadian Hottie-Transplant Anna Thorsen and Leade of Atlantis Rich Campbell just to name a few. It was wild inside, and at the end of it all Tony was awarded a standing ovation. Thank you San Francisco for making this another AMAZING party!

DJ Manny Lehman! Well, I think that just about says it all! From Manny, and I quote, "I love this party! The San Francisco crowd spoils me at FRESH, I had a blast!". Seemed like EVERYONE was in the house for this one, and we were celebrating bdays all night long! Jamie J. Sanchez, hottie gogo Martin, Lighting Monster Oy! Allan, and 2 very special anniversary celebrations for couples that met at FRESH!

You've never heard of THE PERRY TWINS? Well, we set out to fix that at FRESH in August! Yes, they're really twins. Yes, they're really gay. Yes, they're really that cute. Yes, they're really that nice. And YES, they're really that talented! The Twins brought a FRESH new vibe to the floor, along with some of their signature coreographed 'dance routines' as perfromed from the DJ booth throughout the night. These two are all about the feel good music, and they brought it all night long. And with so many VIPs celebrating birthdays a FRESH, um among them, Hot Mama Carol Lund, Gogo Goddess Tracy, Superstar Socialite Lord Martine, Handsome Hotelier Ron Ryan, this one felt extra-special. As if that weren't enough, the twins got a special visit, scratch that, impromptu performace in the DJ booth by a VIP we'll call Jose Mercado. So much fun! And based on the feedback we got, The Perry Twins will be back at FRESH in 2010!

DJ Dan De Leon BROUGHT IT to his debut at FRESH! And the pressure was ON! With Birthday Boys Patrick 'PDev' Devin, Sean Bulmer and Donald Graves in the house along side the Original Fag Hag-turned-FRESH-go-go-Birthday-Gurl Suzan Revah, he simply COULD NOT disappoint. The VIP suite was packed with bday party people (hello Neena and team), and with big screen photo montages and impromptu dancefloor solos from Sean's shoulders, the night was jam-packed. Thanks to our HOT HOT HOT lineup of dancers, inlcuding the long-anticipated return of SF favorite Aaron Meitzenheimer, hottie David Reid, always rockin and glamorous Carol Lund and superstar hottie duo Christian Owen and Adrian Gonzalez. And thanks to all of you who partied with us as we donated to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society again in 2009! Looking forward to the Perry Twins on Sunday night 8/16!

Our Pride celebrations this year seemed to take on deeper meaning given all the progress we've made in 2009! We have more to be proud of than ever before, and change is constant and rampant, if evidenced only by the reality of legalized same-sex marriage in six U.S. States: Connecticut, Iowa, Massachusetts, Vermont, Maine (Sept. 2009) and New Hampshire (Jan. 2010). So there were indeed many reasons to celebrate this year, and that's exactly what we did at FRESH. Celebrating pride, progress, unity, change and charity! What more perfect occasion to cross the $100,000 total donation milestone at FRESH - YES WE DID! Especially in this economy, every dollar counts! So whether you were aware of it or not, you have been directly impacting SO MANY lives simply by attending FRESH! $100,000 is an amazing achievement, and without you it's not possible. Kimberly S. (undoubtedly) gave it to us all night long! (shocker) She gave us the perfect blend of hot new tracks, feel-good remixes, and nostalgic favorties. The place was packed with fresh-faces and out-of-town visitors who came in early from the Pride Festival and cooled down from the 80 degree temps outside. It was a gorgeous day! And speaking of gorgeous, TV personality / Actor / Singer / Dancer Jai Rodriguez gave us a sneak peek at his new album with a performance of his first single 'Move'! Oh yeah, and circuit-super-celebrity-diva FLAVA made a debut appearance on the dancefloor! ;-) This was a very happy sell-out crowd that packed into Ruby Skye and celebrated all night long. Thanks for helping us make FRESH a favorite destination for SF Pride Weekend!

One last thank you, to Suzan Revah and her runners who helped Janine raise money for the San Francisco AIDS Foundation Marathon!  Thanks to everyone who donated - Janine's running for all of us - so cheer her on as she runs the race on Sunday July 26th!

Only two words are needed to describe the craziness that was FRESH St. Patrick's Day 2009: "FRESH First"? No... "Single Ladies"? No... "Andrew Christian"? No... "Birthday EXTRAVAGANZA"? Closer... "CHARISMA GLITTERATTI"? Um, Yeah, that's what we're talkin' about. But don't forget her HOT HOTTIE posse of sidekicks, BeBe Sweetbriar and Devin Demand. Together the turned their performance of 'Single Ladies' OUT - and of course, celebrated Charisma's Birthday in FRESH-VIP Suite style. It was a night to remember, and we thank Charisma and her team for servin' it up fresh. The crowd LOVED it, and so did we!

Phil B.! Phil B.! Phil B.! Who better to spin the FRESH 7th Anniversary than the man himself! With 7 years under our belts, Phil B. went OUT OF HIS way to make this party special, and he didn't disappoint! The boys came from all over the country for this one, with a huge influx of LA and San Diego boys! FRESH faces and new friends, the energy inside was HOT HOT HOT. A record 15 birthday parties, a HUGE photo valentine on the big screen, a special mess of hot gogo dancers featuring the smokin' hot superstar couple Christian Owen and Adrian Gozales in a dynamic duo performance on the Catwalk, Louie's birthday celebration and Anniversary antics in the VIP Suite at 11pm! Whew! This one was jam-packed. The huge FRESH crowd helped us donate again to the ongoing No On 8 effort via Equality California, so we were fighting for equality as we partied the night away! Thanks to everyone for 7 amazing years, and now over $90,000 in charitable donations! We can't do this without you, and we offer our sincere thanks for all the good times and amazing experiences you have brought to FRESH over the years. We're going STRONG and look forward to making many more memories with you. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

Um, wow... So 2009 got off to a really fast start! We are all well aware of how hot Brett Henrichsen is (yeah, his music is HOT too), but he put a fresh twist on his FRESH set and brought it big time! Was it because it was MLK Weekend? Was it because it was Barak Obama's Inauguration Weekend? Was is because Suzan Revah made her FRESH debut on the Gogo boxes? Was is because Charisma did an impromptu performance that no one expected? Hmmm... We're not sure, but we're sure we don't care, because the place was packed with boys, both familiar and fresh new faces, and all were lovin' every minute of it! And to top it all off, FRESH @ Ruby Skye won the 'Best T-Dance 2008' award from EDGE! We're honored, and say 'Way to go San Francisco!'. Thanks to everyone who comes back month-after-month to party with us at FRESH! Without you, the party couldn't live on... And the Jeffrey Goodman Special Care Clinic was our FRESH beneficiary this month, so they thank you too!

It must have been Roma's Birthday, when added to the overwhelming holiday spirit, that threw this party OVER THE TOP! Oh yeah, and the CRAZY, OUT OF CONTROL, FIERCE, SEXY, FLAWLESS set that Kimberly S. laid down. Yeah, we can't for get that. Words can't describe, and sorry Wayne G., she de-throned you as the record holder for most email received after a FRESH event. Praise and applause followed as FRESH-faithfuls called her performance 'the best they've heard her in YEARS'! Thanks to ALL OF YOU who braved the rain and cold to join us for a fantastic HOLIDAY T-DANCE! And thanks to the gogo hottie hot bodies that hit the boxes - it's hotter inside because of you - lookin' GOOD!

Now if you thought Phil brought the crazy in October, well you'd have to step back and think again. Wayne G. was simply on fire - and we've received more email about this Thanksgiving party than any other party in FRESH history! The energy was crazy, it was the Scorpio's bday (and Don Tix, and Roland, and Miss Miller, and our Love Monkey Jessica, OMG did we forget anyone!), Carol sang her ass off with 'It's Raining Men' and 'Move Your Body', Roma, BeBe and the lovely Donna Sachet were out in FULL FORCE, the VIP Suite was bangin' with a crazy who's who list of see-and-be-seeners (a-List go-gos Damian, David, Carlos, BK and James among them), and of course the fabulous Suzan Revah perfromed on the catwalk with Mr. SF Leather Travis Creston. Mindblowing. Mindboggling. Anyone know who won the battle between Mike and Suzan for Damin Rios' hand in marriage?! I think that says it all, and we're still exhasted...

Ummmm, the likes of Phil B.'s Halloween set have never before been seen/heard at FRESH! Phil created a sound and energy for the dancefloor that we simply cannot describe, you just had to be there to understand! We know the crowd loves Phil, and they showed that love by jumping and screaming with their hands in the air all night long. Even our esteemed roster of GoGo professionals were dumbfounded, with a couple of them deciding to stay on the boxes when their sets were finished. And with TWO AMAZING ARIAL performances by hot, hot, hotties Jennings and Brett, the energy in the room went through the roof! Mike will tell you this was one of his favorite FRESH events EVER, and after 6yrs that's saying a LOT! Special thanks to Phil B., our amazing dancers, Trapeze World and of course Ruby Skye! Evidently that's a combination that should come with a warning...

Labor Day came early this year, and with it came MARK TARBOX'S FINAL PERFORMANCE! :-(  Mark took to the decks at our very first FRESH event, so it was only fitting that he spun his final set at FRESH to end his career. Mark's one of our favorites, he packed the house until close, and his final set was nothing short of amazing.  A true hottie DJ champ, we will miss him, and of course welcome him back when he comes out of retirement! :-)

So here's the scoop: On the San Francisco stop of Instinct / Undergear's model search - we discovered Carlos Figueroa - and he went on to WIN THE ENTIRE NATION-WIDE COMPETITION! That's right, the guy you all chose as the SF Finalist is now Instinct Magazine's latest cover boy!  Check out the photos in this album - hot!

It goes without saying that we were PROUD to have Phil B. at the tables for our 2008 SF Pride T-Dance! For the 5th year running, FRESH @ Ruby Skye was the Official T-Dance of San Francisco Pride, so the pressure was on! I think it's safe to say that we gave all of our out-of-town guests a very good look at how we get our party on in San Francisco...

Memorial Day is ALWAYS one of our biggest events, and this year we had Andrew Christian in the house with his HOT HOTTIE HOTTNESS undwear line and models. A great guy with a talent for barely-there designs, he rocked the catwalk with an impromptu fashion show, then mixed and mingled with the crowd.  Kinmberly S. collaborated with him on the tour and the CD, and of course she BROUGHT IT all night long! (shocker...)

Wayne G. was back at FRESH for Mike's birthday bonanza, and that's just the way he likes it. Wayne is one of his favorite DJs and he brought it back to San Francisco for the boys with world-class style. Wayne's set was a stone-groove-smash-hit-wonder and he even had Sister Roma bouncin' on the dancefloor. In honor of Mike's birthday, a portion of the proceeds from the event were donated to the AIDS Walk San Francisco! The boys were hot, the music was hotter, and the boys on the boxes were the hottest around. See for yourself...
